Developing new Learning Community Plans

As they start to mature, some of our leading Learning Communities are embarking on evaluation of their current strategies and development of new ones. Both Wyndham City Council and Brimbank City Council are using our Australian Learning Community Framework (co-authored with our colleague, Dr Leone Wheeler) to ensure that their new plans are based on feedback and outcomes. The use of the Framework to guide the development of the new strategies will ensure that they are evidence-based, consistent, community-driven and inclusive. Both these far-sighted local governments participated in the development of the Framework. Great to see them closing the loop by using them as they grow their Learning Communities.
